The resort will have 20 personal tents, with one presidential gazebo and two interwoven canopied suites.
This new addition will join Marriott Bonvoy's massive range of 8,000 hotels across the world.

Marriott International Inc. is reportedly planning to enter African safari space by teaming up with Baraka Lodges to provide travelers with an elegant retreat to connect with nature and fixate on their well-being through an astounding setting. The resort is likely to be situated in Africa's acclaimed wildlife protection and wilderness spot, the Mara National Reserve.

For this, the world’s largest hotel chain aims to recruit nearly 50 Masai community members and will offer extensive learning opportunities for guests who want to engross themselves in the destination. Guests will be able to enjoy the spectacular vistas, infinite prairies, and rich biodiversity from the lodge's scenic location overlooking the river Talek.

Sources claimed that the resort will have 20 personal tents, with one presidential gazebo and two interwoven canopied suites, both with exclusive balconies, aimed particularly at families. The other common spaces will encompass a spa, lounge bar, restaurant, and a great open-air terrace with bonfires where evening performances of native Masai dance will take place.

Furthermore, the property will host its annual wildebeest migration between June and September, which experiences nearly 10 million animals traveling a 1,800-mile distance from Serengeti, Tanzania. This will also allow guests to see the Masai Mara's Big Five animals, comprising lions, buffalos, elephants, rhinoceros, and leopards.

Bruce Rohr, the Brand Leader and VP of Marriott International, expressed his excitement at welcoming adventurous travelers to this Kenyan retreat, believing that this association fits well with the brand's motto of guest mindfulness.

It is worth noting that Marriott has over 120 properties in Africa, and this new addition will join Marriott Bonvoy's massive range of 8,000 hotels across the world.
