CLEAR & LabCorp Team-up to Bring COVID-19 Test Results on Mobile App

CLEAR, the secure identity enterprise, and LabCorp, the world’s leading life sciences organization focused on improving health and guiding patient care decisions announced their collaboration to allow users of the Health Pass mobile app of CLEAR to link their LabCorp test results securely using their LabCorp Patient™ account. The collaboration brings advanced testing capabilities of LabCorp, including its COVID-19 tests with CLEAR’s secure "Health Pass" technology.

Health Pass safely links an individual's digital identity with their COVID-19 data to help simplify access into public spaces and reinstate peace of mind. To leverage the new collective offering, suitable Health Pass users should first provide agreement, then log in to their LabCorp Patient account using the CLEAR app to link their accounts. While communicating a person’s health status. The Health Pass only shows an inclusive green or red signal to venue operators and employers. It would never share or provide access to the private health details of a user.

Health Pass is already used in many industries, including the Stanley Cup Playoffs of the National Hockey League, and enables users to seamlessly share their COVID19-related data. The app connects a user with real-time health surveys, temperature checks via integrated CLEAR hardware and will now allow users to access test results conducted by LabCorp. LabCorp has conducted more than 15 million COVID-19 diagnostic tests that are available to people through pharmacies, employer programs, healthcare providers, and patients directly via Pixel by LabCorpTM.

The CEO and Chairman of LabCorp, Adam Schechter, stated that the company is allowing people to share their LabCorp health information securely and conveniently, so they can go back to work, enter public venues and travel safely and confidently.

Caryn Seidman-Becker, the CEO of CLEAR, expressed her enthusiasm about joining forces with LabCorp to support their partners to create a safe and secure environment for their employees and communities. She claimed that Health Pass is helping thousands of people to go back to their jobs and routine. This collaboration will enhance the safety of users by creating a secure way to share their test results when they enter workplaces and public settings.
