Danaher Water Quality Platform acquires Aquatic Informatics Inc

Danaher Water Quality Platform, a renowned enterprise that focuses on addressing critical water sector challenges, has reportedly announced the acquisition of Aquatic Informatics, a leading mission-driven software enterprise that addresses key water data management, compliance, and analytics issues for the global water sector.

Danaher acquired Aquatic from XPV Water Partners, a prominent water investment fund that supports water-focused enterprises to enable their growth. Aquatic Informatics provides water management solutions to more than 1,000 different organizations across the world that manage, collect, and also make decisions using vast volumes of water-related data.

Aquatic Informatics CEO, Ed Quilty stated that the company is thrilled to join the Danaher Water Quality Platform. The Aquatic team has collectively built the company up to be into one of the biggest water-focused software providers globally over the last 17 years. The company still continues to see an immense growth potential in the industry. Aquatic is looking forward to join the Danaher team Water on its journey as it aspires to help industry experts to make smart, data-driven decisions using timely water reports. 

Water Quality Platform Group Executive and Danaher Vice President, Kevin Klau stated that the company is thrilled to welcome Ed Quilty as well as the Aquatic Informatics team onboard. The water data management company has built market-leading capabilities by managing vast data sets and effectively helping improve the decision making of its consumers for better results.

Klau further added that with the company’s extensive application expertise, they can integrate software, hardware, and services to help municipal, environmental, and industrial consumers save costs, reduce risk, and enhance asset performance.

Managing Partner at XPV Water Partners, Dave Henderson congratulated Ed Quilty and Aquatic Informatics team on the new deal, stating that XPV is proud to have worked alongside Aquatic to develop the business into a global digital water leader. Henderson further added that XPV is confident that Aquatic Informatics is in a good position for bringing in strong growth in the coming years.
