Modaxo Inc. acquires TTG Transportation to revolutionize rail travel

Modaxo, Inc., a global collective of people transportation companies, has reportedly extended its investment in the Rail sector by acquiring TTG Transportation Technology.

TTG Transportation, with offices in Australia and the United Kingdom, has been the leading provider of connected driver advisory systems to the global Rail industry since 2007. Sources with knowledge on the subject cited that TTG’s connected driver advisory system is specifically designed to meet the unique requirements of the Rail industry.

It operates simultaneously with real-time traffic scenarios to assist rail operators in optimizing energy, various operations, and maintenance costs. This means that TTG provides precise information to inform drivers when to brake or coast, increase speed, in order to reduce carbon emissions and accomplish on-time running.

Credible sources claimed that TTG solutions are currently operational across four continents with an installation count of over 8,000 fixed and portable units worldwide on freight, passenger, and heavy haul trains operating on both diesel and electric energy.

TTG’s founder and owner, Dale Coleman, on the matter, expressed that Modaxo is the right fit for TTG, as both groups are passionate about the significance of technology in keeping Rail operations running safely and efficiently.

He further added that becoming a part of such a well-established organization like Modaxo is a great move for TTG and will provide them new opportunities and the ability to advance their workforce and Rail technology products.

Meanwhile, Bill Delaney, CEO at Modaxo, was pleased to expand Rail offerings and welcomed Dale and the team. The two companies will have a tremendous opportunity to work together collaborate and build a bright future for Rail travel and sustainable mobility around the globe, he added.

TTG’s solutions have become a part of Modaxo’s overall Rail solutions portfolio which will be offered through Trapeze Group, Signature Rail, and Binary Systems,  sources confirmed.
